
Ahmet Kayhan Korkusuz
Ahmet Kayhan Korkusuz is currently a second-year medical student at Istanbul Medipol University. In 2019, he graduated from Istanbul Buyukcekmece Ataturk Anatolian High School with being the best student in his year. He then started to Medipol University Lan-guage School and graduated from there in 2020 with a score of 97. His entrance to the medi-cal faculty of Istanbul Medipol University was in the same year.He is of the opinion that the key to success is to share your knowledge with people who need it. That is why he decided to get involved in several projects. In the first year of his med-ical education, he was selected as Editor-in-Chief of the social responsibility project called ''Hijyen Dedektifleri'' created within the scope of Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Communication with the course of 'Communication in Health''. He has been in charge of 192 medical students in this project. His other roles are Translator at TED Conferences, Member at both the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and UluBAT (The Association of National Communities of Academic Research in Turkey) Neuro-science Subgroup, Content Writer at both MUBAT BLOG (Mugla Sitki kocman University – The Community of Academic Research) and Fibula Journal – Yildiz Technical University – Medical Technologies Club, Reviewer at Undergraduate Research Journal Multidisciplinary Journal – Georgia University, Editorial Board Member at Medipol SABITA and Student Researcher at both OHMO (Oli Health Magazine Organization) Research Team and Medipol REMER (Regenerative and Restorative Medicine Research Center). He also has more than 10 publications in several blogs, websites, and journals.
His main goal is to be a scientist with the potential to make significant contributions to both national and international science. His main research areas are classified as neurodegener-ative diseases, neurophysiology and pathophysiology of stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, and medical technologies.
