Four of our medical students are awarded the 2247-C STAR – Undergraduate Intern Reseracher Scholarship Program.
The STAR Program is prepared by TÜBİTAK to help undergraduate students to gain hands-on research experience and to take their first steps into the science ecosystem. This year, 12,709 students applied to this project-based scholarship program. 1,500 undergraduate students from 145 different universities, studying at Engineering and Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Medical faculties were accepted to the STAR program.

The awarded students will be able to work with their project coordinators for the next six months. They will experience the lab environment and acquire a basis for being a scientist. Additionally, they will be getting a monthly scholarship from TÜBİTAK during the project.
