Muhammed Furkan Daşdelen
M.Furkan Daşdelen is currently a fifth-year Medicine & Computer Engineering double major student at Istanbul Medipol University. He spent a semester in Boston, MA for language school with a scholarship from Istanbul Medipol University. He has been an undergraduate researcher at Kılıç Lab, Research Institute for Health Sciences and Technologies (SABITA) for four years. He is currently working on the effects of early social isolation on stroke outcomes. Additionally, he is interested in deep learning applications on histological samples and developing computer-based ischemic area detection and cell counting on cresyl violet stainings after brain ischemia.
