Aysun Çağlayan
Aysun Çaglayan has an undergraduate degree in Genetics and Bioengineering from the Yeditepe University, Istanbul. She completed her master's degree (MSc) in Medical Physiology in 2018 from the Medipol University. She received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience from the Medipol University. She is the member of Kılıç Group.Aysun Caglayan is well experienced in establishment and maintenance of primary cortical cell culture. She also has an experience about handling, maintenance, and sub-culturing of several types of secondary cell lines. Another area of interests are the design and implementation of in vitro lentiviral experiments such as lentivirus gene packaging of interest and cell transfection. She also focuses on the cloning of genes of interest into expression vectors following essentially recombinant techniques respectively PCR, restriction enzymatic digestion, vector ligature and PCR product, transformation, plasmid isolation.
