Biological systems can not be reduced to single molecular events, yet, in order to understand the whole, they are usually where we start. We value and very much enjoy research within the frame of basic science, however we are equally enthusiastic about translational research and aware of its importance. We adopt the approach “discover a new basic mechanism and develop translational research upon it”.
