Assoc. Prof. Seda Karabulut
[email protected]Seda Karabulut graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology in 1998. In 2004, he completed his master's degree in Kadir Has University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Histology-Embryology. She completed her PhD degree at Gebze Institute of Technology, at the Faculty of Science Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. She worked as a clinical embryologist in several IVF centers as a laboratory director for 19 years. She started working in Acıbadem Hospital IVF center laboratory in 1999, worked in this center until 2005, and between 2005-2006, he took part in the establishment of the laboratory of Adatıp Hospital IVF department. After completing the embryology and microinjection certification programs in the IVF center of Zeynep Kamil Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital in 2006, she established the Ferticenter IVF center laboratory in 2006 and worked as the Laboratory Supervisor in this center until 2011. Karabulut, who founded the IVF center laboratory of Kadıköy Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2011. Dr. Karabulut is currently holding a faculty position and the director in the Department of Histology and Embryology in the International School of Medicine, Istanbul Medipol University. Her main research interest are: infertility, reproductive biology, reproductive medicine, signal transmission pathways in sperm cells, apoptosis and DNA damage.
