S. Buğra Baltacı
S. Bugra Baltaci received his Ph.D. in Medical Physiology from Selcuk University where he worked as a research assistant for 3 years. His research interests focused on synaptic plasticity and its relation to neurodegenerative disorders. After completing his Ph.D. thesis work on the metabolic disturbances in Alzheimer’s disease, he joined Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Kılıç’s group in SABITA as a postdoctoral fellow to carry out his TUBITAK project on mitochondria transfer after cerebral ischemia. He has experience with immunobloting, spectrophotometry, and surgical procedures in laboratory animals.
