
Ensar Yücel
[email protected]Ensar Yücel is an undergraduate researcher at Istanbul Medipol University, Research Institute for Health Sciences and Technologies (SABITA). With a background in Psychology, he plans to specialize in cellular neuroscience. Yücel is a dedicated researcher focused on creating in-vitro brain circuits to better understand the complex structure and functionality of the human brain.
He is currently working on a TÜBİTAK 1001 project in collaboration with researchers from SABITA and Biruni University. The project aims to measure the impact of ADHD-related genes on in-vitro learning by using microelectrode array (MEA) systems to teach neurons to play video games.
Yücel is also learning cell culture techniques, patch clamp, and MEA systems to achieve his research goals.
Beyond his academic pursuits, he is a certified second-degree trainer and arbiter with the Turkish Chess Federation, as well as a pianist and vinyl collector.
