Assist. Prof. Miray Budak
Miray Budak completed her undergraduate education in the field of Physiotherapy in 2011. She then continued her master education at Golden Horn University, Institute of Health Sciences. In her master dissertation she focused on the “The Effect Of Kinesiotaping On The Treatment Outcomes Of Subacromial İmpingement Syndrome”. Later she was accepted to the PhD program at Istanbul Medipol University. Her PhD research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Lütfü Hanoğlu at Istanbul Medipol Mega University Hospital; and by Prof. Dr. Zübeyir Bayraktaroğlu at the fiNCAN-MRI Lab. Her PhD research focused on “The Effects of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Aerobic Exercise on Cognition, Balance and Functional Brain Networks in Patients with Alzheimer's Disease”.Dr. Budaki is currently holding a faculty position at Istanbul Medipol University, School of Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Budak is a member of fiNCAN-MRI Lab and a member of Cognitive Rehabilitation Lab at Mega University Hospital. Her main research focuses on reorganization in the brain functional connectivity networks, fMRI data analysis, non-invasive neuromodulation techniques in cognitive neuroscience and neural correlates of cognitive/motor functions in the neurodegenerative disease.
