Assist. Prof. Berrak Çağlayan
Dr. Berrak Caglayan received her BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University. Next, she received MSc and PhD in Biotechnology from Yeditepe University under the supervision of Prof Dr Fikrettin Sahin and Prof Dr Ertugrul Kilic. During her PhD, she worked as a Lecturer in the Vocational School of Health Services in Medipol University and established the molecular biology and histology laboratory in Medipol University where she joined the faculty in 2017. Dr Caglayan is currently holding a faculty position in the Department of Medical Genetics in the International School of Medicine. Her research focuses on protein homeostasis and ER stress under normal and neurodegenerative conditions.Selected Publications;
