[email protected]"Ahmet Can GÜNAY has gained a broad perspective in the field of engineering throughout his education. He studied not only Electrical and Electronics Engineering but also Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Kültür University. This double major education provided him with the opportunity to combine both technical and managerial skills.
GÜNAY's research interests are especially focused on health technologies and artificial intelligence applications. His studies on computer vision systems developed for breast cancer detection demonstrate his expertise in the field of medical image processing. He has worked on extracting critical information such as breast composition and tumor location from mammography images using advanced artificial intelligence technologies such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Vision Transformer (ViT).
In addition, GÜNAY's work in the field of natural language processing (NLP) is also noteworthy. His use of NLP techniques to extract important information from mammography reports demonstrates his interdisciplinary approach. These studies have made significant contributions to extracting meaningful information from medical texts and classifying them.
He currently works as a data scientist at Next4biz Information Technologies CRM & CSM Company. In this position, he develops NLP algorithms, designs machine learning models, and analyzes large-scale text data. He works especially on NLP tasks such as sentiment analysis, entity name recognition, and text classification.
GÜNAY's academic studies cannot be ignored either. He has published articles on topics such as sentiment analysis of tweets about online education during the COVID-19 period, Boosting CRM Chatbot Solutions with Flash Attention and Probabilistic Inference, and BI-RADS Classification from Mammography Images using Deep Learning. These studies demonstrate his competence in data analysis and industrial engineering."
