Dr. Neşe Ayşit, a researcher at the Research Institute for Health Sciences and Technologies (SABITA), received the Second Oral Presentation Award at the 19th Medical Biology and Genetics Congress, held in Muğla between October 27–30, 2025. Her presentation, titled “Investigation of Sensory Neuron–Breast Cancer Cell Interactions in In Vitro Models,” drew significant attention from the scientific community.
Dr. Ayşit’s study aims to model the interactions between cancer cells and sensory neurons under laboratory conditions, offering new insights that may contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic approaches in cancer biology. This recognition, awarded at one of Türkiye’s leading gatherings of molecular biology and genetics researchers, once again highlights SABITA’s commitment to interdisciplinary and pioneering research in the field of health sciences.
