Congress / 3rd National Organic Chemistry Congress

Güzel research group represented Medipol REMER with five posters and one oral presentation in National Organic Chemistry Congress that took place in Trabzon.

Dr. Mustafa Güzel, who is a researcher in REMER and a faculty member of International Medical Faculty, represented Medipol University as an invited speaker together with poster presentations of the researchers in his group. Dr. Güzel gave a talk titled “The Role and the Importance of Medicinal Chemistry in Drug Discovery and Development”.  The posters that were prepared based on the research in his group also represented Medipol REMER.

Dr. Mustafa Güzel talked about his specific drug development studies that he carried out in Medipol and in the USA. He explained the contributions of Medicinal Chemistry in new drug discovery by giving examples from drug candidates he has developed for diabetes and cancer, in which way he represented our University in the congress with success.
