[email protected]

İrem Onin-Yırıkoğulları received her B.A. degree in Psychology from Bahçeşehir University. She then completed her M.S. in Cognitive Neuropsychology at the same university, where her research focused on healthy aging, particularly on Superagers and their metacognitive abilities. After her first master's degree, she pursued an M.H.Sc. in Cognitive Rehabilitation at İstanbul Medipol University, where her research concentrated on neuromodulation techniques and the acquired savant syndrome/savant-like skills in healthy young adults. She later joined SABITA as a pre-doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lütfü Hanoğlu. In this role, she investigated the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on healthy individuals. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Experimental Psychology program and a doctoral researcher at Sabancı University, where her main research interests include the effects of transcranial electrical stimulation on visual information processing and visual perception.
