Molecular Cell Biology Facility is equipped with the instruments and infrastructure to perform advanced molecular biology techniques.

In this facility, there are basic molecular biology tools such as PCR and qRT-PCR instruments, gel electrophoresis systems, ChemiDoc MP imaging system for imaging and analyzing gels and western blots, cardio-ECR real-time analysis system, electroporation device, cryostat.

The molecular biology techniques used here include gene expression analysis, protein analysis, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry and western blot.

These resources allow for complex and advanced molecular studies at the level of cells, tissues, organs, systems and organisms. These studies include understanding and tracking disease progression, drug development etc.
