Ayşenur Özpınar received the first prize at the 21st National Neuroscience Congress with her outstanding poster presentation on “Chemogenetic and Optogenetic Approaches to Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia Against Acute Stroke”.
The aim of this study is to identify a neuronal subpopulation in dorsomedial hypothalamus (DMH) and decipher its projections in mice that are involved in therapeutic hypothermia in order to induce a neuroprotective effect in acute stroke.
