Mehmet Kocatürk received a B.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Istanbul Technical University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from Bogazici University. In addition to his academic activities, he worked in MobiArts Co. as an embedded system design engineer and Nortel Networks Netas Co. as a software design engineer. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Istanbul Medipol University and affiliated with Research Institute for Health Sciences and Technologies (SABITA) at the same university. His research interests focus on the physiology of the motor system and motor neuroprosthetics.
