Basic cell culture techniques for culturing and propagating cell lines. To assess the effect(s) of toxic agents to the viability of these cells, spectrophotometric cell viability analyses are used.

Exosome isolation from cell culture media or blood plasma samples are performed.Isolated exosomes are characterized by using optical density measurements in Nanosight, FACS and electron microscopy.Protein content of exosomes are determined by proteomics analysis.

Regulatory RNA content of the exosomes are investigated by small RNAseq and qRT-PCR.
To control the cargo loading into exosomes, an optogenetic technology (EXPLOR) is used.
