Ayşe Betül Şerefoğlu Ak graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Pharmacy. After working as a private pharmacy manager for a while, she started working as a hospital pharmacist. In this position, which he has held for 12 years, she gained experience in both clinical processes and pharmacoeconomic fields. In her master's thesis, she worked on a new application initiated within the hospital and a method that contributes to both correct drug administration and pharmacoeconomics. She continues her research on the effects of antimicrobial drug prophylaxis on surgical site infections.
